Each year, Kaleb works hard to fundraise for organizations committed to improving access to resources for autistic youth.
At the YOU Powered Symposium, Kaleb overcame many challenges in order to sell tickets for the 50/50 raffle, and even presented the winning numbers on stage! Our annual raffle generates funding to benefit the student scholarship fund at The Halton School where Kaleb is enrolled in 9th grade.
The Halton School provides students on the Autism spectrum a safe place to learn where they will experience reduced stress and a carefully curated curriculum not found in traditional school environments. Students are surrounded by qualified and experienced teachers and administrators that understand their unique needs an work together to help each student thrive, academically and socially.
Kaleb also volunteers at the annual sensory-friendly walk with Autism Speaks in Charlotte where he has earned the highest fundraiser badge.
You can help Kaleb reach his fundraising goals by purchasing a raffle ticket at the YOU Powered Symposium, or donate now below!
The Halton School is based in Huntersville, North Carolina and is designed for 3rd through 8th graders with Asperger’s and traits associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Their smaller class sizes allow for individualized education while also promoting healthy socialization amongst the student population.
The Halton School is more than a school for these students, it is a home away from home. The funds raised are donated to the student scholarship fund to assist low-income families in enrolling their exceptional child into this highly personalized school.
This charity fundraising is especially close to our hearts as our founders son, Kaleb, attends The Halton School as a thriving student. Kaleb was at the 2023 YOU Powered Symposium selling raffle tickets and overcame his stage fright by announcing the winner at our annual Awards Banquet!

Our first annual charity event was a Roast of of everyone’s favorite insurance antagonist, David Contorno, CEO of E Powered Benefits. Frank MicDropper and Ben Winfield made a variety of digs to this red faced CEO and even opened up the stage to audience participation. A night full of laughs with all proceeds going to RIP Medical Debt.
RIP Medical Debt focuses on abolishing medical debt for families and communities.
“RIP Medical Debt was founded in 2014 by two former debt collections executives. Over the course of decades in the debt-buying industry they met with thousands of Americans saddled with unpaid and un-payable medical debt and realized they were uniquely qualified to help those in need.
They imagined a new way to relieve medical debt: by using donations to buy large bundles of debt that is erased with no tax consequences to donors or recipients.

A Charity Carnival was held in Miami to raise money for Dollar For. We played carnival games, ate hot dogs and fried oreos, and put some of our favorite industry celebrities in the Dunk Tank!
“Dollar For is a national nonprofit that crushes medical bills by empowering patients and advocating on their behalf.
Dollar For is here to help. We educate patients about these programs, help patients navigate the application process, and call out hospitals that don’t follow regulations. We have already crushed over $19 million in medical bills. Our work is entirely funded through philanthropic grants and donations. Our services are completely free – no strings attached.”

A Charity Salsa Night was held in Puerto Rico to raise money for local nonprofit, Vimenti by Boys & Girls Club. We danced the night away to a live band and even had salsa lessons from professional dancers!
"Vimenti is a 501c3 organization launched in 2018 by Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico with the great mission of eradicating child poverty in Puerto Rico. Vimenti aspires to be an evidence based model that, through data tracking and proven impact, will be a catalyst to reduce child poverty.
Vimenti runs the first full family integrated model in Puerto Rico which is known mainland as 2 Generation (2Gen). We operate the first public charter school in PR. When a child enrolls in Vimenti, the full family is enrolled and receives comprehensive services to alleviate the key barriers that preclude a family from economic mobility. We believe that all families throughout Puerto Rico should have access to high quality public education and services proven to move a family out of poverty."
