FOUNDER: Emma Fox

With over two decades in the insurance industry, Emma Fox is best known as a founding partner of the renowned boutique benefits agency, E Powered Benefits; an organization committed to the architecture of only open-access, value-based health plans.  After many years in large insurance carrier corporations, Fox broke free and went public on the activity behind BUCA doors.  

Fox quickly recognized the growing numbers of benefits advisors who were choosing a similar path to deliver more sustainable healthcare benefits to their clients.  With the movement steadily gaining traction, she proposed a meeting of minds, first with virtual Coffee Breaks and then, with the very first YOU Powered Symposium in Phoenix, Arizona.

Emma knew that connecting others to work together to find a solution for the US healthcare system was her calling and the symposium became a permanent fixture in the education and networking circuit. 

The following year, attendance grew by over 20% and as a result, Emma launched the Association for Healthcare Advisors (AFHCA) to make this transparent mission an officially recognized career path for bold benefits trailblazers everywhere.
